Speaker Session/Webinar: Post-Operative Rehabilitation for ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Repair/Transplant

Details:  Dr. Nathan Urquhart will be the speaker for this live speaker session during the CASEM symposium. It will also be streamed as a webinar with an interactive function for Q&A with participants both in person and online.  There will be an SPC NS social to follow   
 
DATE/TIME:  June 7, 2018 6 pm Atlantic Standard Time (AST), online and in-person at the Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites (1960 Brunswick Street, Halifax, NS)

Coverage Needed for Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games
When: June 8-10, 2018. 8-10 everyday and overnight.
Where: DAL/SMU.
What: Volunteers to provide medical coverage for sports and during lunches/the dance and overnight. will be provided with lunch and/or dinner as well as a medical staff t-shirt. Those who stay overnight will be provided a room at either DAL/SMU residence.
Requirement: up-to-date CPR/First Aid.

Sport Coverage Opportunity for Students
What: Rugby NS is looking for student trainers to help provide medical coverage for their teams as they prepare for the Eastern Canadian Rugby Championships and Atlantic Rugby Championships this summer.
When: Team selection and training in May 2018 and competitions will take place July/August in PEI and Wolfville.
