SPC focuses on providing its membership with quality service. We have a nationally standardized Education System which includes an internationally recognized Post-Graduate Credential Program, ongoing professional development opportunities from the local to the national level, topical research articles and other opportunities for members to share their experiences and gain from one another. Our membership receives regular communications to ensure they are kept in the loop – including an up to date, interactive website; regular E-Blasts and special message bulletins. Partnerships with companies such as KineMedics help SPC provided added value to members with specialty product discounts.

SPC is a founding member of the Integrated Sport Healthcare and Science Council of Canada (ISHSCC). The ISHSCC is a collaborative group of sport medicine organizations dedicated to providing coordinated expertise for the implementation of sport science and medicine practices for active Canadians and athletes.

As Canada’s expert in Sport Physiotherapy, SPC is regularly asked by sport governing bodies including the Canadian Olympic Committee to provide a list of qualified therapists for major national and international Games involvement. SPC Diploma holders are well recognized and regularly chosen for these special events.
