CALL FOR GAMES

Sport Physiotherapy Canada has been providing quality physiotherapy care to Canada's athletes since 1972. We have physiotherapists providing coverage for National and Provincial Events like the Canada Summer/Winter Games and for international events such as the: Olympic/Paralympic Summer and Winter, Commonwealth, World University, Pan American, and Francophone Games.

As the recognized standard setting organization for Sport Physiotherapists in Canada, SPC routinely collaborates with sporting event organizers from the local to the international level to assist with the provision/selection of qualified Sport Physiotherapists to support athletes at events. SPC works with a variety of national partners to coordinate the implementation and provision of sport science and medicine practice for active Canadians and athletes.

Requests for athlete support at Major or Developmental Games will come from organizing bodies such as the Canadian Olympic Committee directly to Sport Physiotherapy Canada. SPC members are then notified of the opportunity via Calls for Applications sent out from the SPC National Office.
