Sport Physiotherapy Canada has been providing quality physiotherapy care to Canada's athletes since 1972. We have physiotherapists providing coverage for National and Provincial Events like the Canada Summer/Winter Games and for international events such as the: Olympic Summer and Winter, Commonwealth, World University, Pan American, and Francophone Games.
As the recognized standard setting organization for Sport Physiotherapists in Canada, SPC is routinely contacted by various sporting event organizers from the local to the international level to assist with the provision/selection of qualified Sport physiotherapists to support events. A founding partner of the Intergrated Sport Healthcare Science Council of Canada ( ISHSCC), SPC works collaboratively with a variety of national partners dedicated to providing coordinated expertise for the implementation of sport science and medicine practices for active Canadians and athletes.
Calls for Major or Developmental Games will come from organizing bodies such as the Canadian Olympic Committee directly to SPC. In turn SPC notifies our membership via calls for Applications sent out from the SPC National Office.
